Most operators with demanding schedules sabotage their fat-loss by not managing their protein effectively throughout the day.
And it usually looks something like this…
They wake up, slam a coffee, and head to the office.
Lunch time rolls around and they hit up a local spot to eat with a client or a colleague.
They order something that's not overly nutritious and usually high carb/low protein.
By the way, carbs aren’t bad…
But in excess and in isolation, can cause that mid afternoon energy crash followed by more hunger shortly after.
They get home from work with nothing left in the tank and skip their workout as a result.
Dinner is usually decent.
Meat, carb, veg.
But because they’re tired and protein deficient…
They raid the kitchen pantry at 9pm after the kiddos go to bed.
An hour later, and they’ve crushed an entire bag of chips or a row of cookies in front of the TV.
Again, nothing wrong with chips or cookies...
But in excess and isolation, keep them stuck on this never ending cycle.
And they wonder why they feel like their battery is running on empty.
Little do they know that this could all be solved simply by managing their protein properly earlier in the day.
Which would eradicate that mid afternoon energy crash while mitigating late night doom snacking.
